I entered the country through Cairo from Italy and stayed at the Four Seasons at The First Residence for the proximity to the iconic Pyramids of Giza, the main postcard of Egypt. It is worth visiting the pyramids by day and return at nightfall when the archaeological site comes alive during a show of light and sound under the stars. Through the window of my room, when the fog gave a break, I could see the outline of the pyramids. Amazing!
